MEET THE COACH
I’m Zinah, an online coach and personal trainer based in New Jersey, and I help women build strong, confident bodies through sustainable fat loss, muscle building, and a healthy lifestyle they can actually maintain.
My passion for fitness didn’t start from always feeling confident in my body. It actually started from the opposite.
Growing up in New Jersey, I struggled with body image from a young age. Once I got into middle school, I became hyper-aware of how I looked and started comparing myself to other girls around me. From middle school through the end of high school, my weight fluctuated constantly as I chased the idea of being “skinny.” I tried different forms of yo-yo dieting, hoping each one would finally be the thing that made me feel good enough in my own skin.
At the same time, I was a competitive swimmer for most of my life. Swimming shaped a huge part of who I am. It built the inner athlete in me — the discipline, the drive, the resilience, and the mindset of always wanting to push myself to become better. That competitive background still influences the way I train, the way I coach, and the standard I hold for myself and my clients today.
When COVID hit during my senior year of high school, swimming came to an end. Like a lot of people, I lost structure. My activity dropped, I turned to food for comfort, and I found myself feeling even more unhappy in my body than before. But that season also became a turning point for me.
I realized I didn’t want another short-term fix. I didn’t want to keep starting over, trying the next restrictive diet, and staying stuck in the same cycle. I wanted a real change — one that would last for life.
So I committed to my fitness journey for good.
Not for one summer.
Not for one event.
Not to hit one random number on the scale.
But to build a body, mindset, and lifestyle I could be proud of for the long haul.
I still remember recording a video in my room in the middle of the night because I felt so fired up to finally change my life. That moment was the beginning of everything.
Now, six years later, fitness is no longer just something I do — it’s who I am.
I earned my degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University, and I’ve continued learning through hands-on coaching experience, mentorship, and studying what actually works in the real world.
Today, I coach clients through both personal training and online coaching, helping them build bodies they feel confident in without extreme restriction, quick fixes, or all-or-nothing dieting.

MY PATH TO FITNESS COACHING
A journey of self-discovery, growth, and becoming the woman I respect.
The Beginning
As a kid, I always wanted to lose weight and feel more confident in my body. I didn’t fully understand fitness yet, but I knew I wanted to change how I looked and how I felt.
The Obsession
I eventually became focused on getting the lowest number on the scale possible. I thought that would bring happiness, but over time, I realized that lifestyle wasn’t healthy or sustainable, and it wasn’t the life I truly wanted.
The Shift
That’s when my mindset changed. I stopped chasing just weight loss and started focusing on building muscle, strength, and a body I could be proud of. I fell in love with becoming strong, not just smaller.
The Growth
Now, I continue growing every day, physically, mentally, and as a coach. My journey didn’t end with my transformation; it became the foundation for helping others build the strongest, healthiest version of themselves too.
MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Your results should come from a healthy lifestyle you can actually live.
I believe that when you truly understand the foundations of training, nutrition, recovery, and consistency, your body becomes a reflection of your daily habits.
You don’t need to suffer through miserable meal plans, cut out every food you enjoy, or constantly start over every Monday. You need structure, discipline, education, and a plan that fits your real life.
That’s what I help my clients build.
I work with women who are tired of the yo-yo dieting cycle, tired of feeling uncomfortable in their own skin, and tired of knowing they’re capable of more but not seeing it reflected in the mirror. My goal is to help them lose fat, build muscle, feel strong, and create a lifestyle that finally feels sustainable — not something they can only keep up with for a few weeks.
Because the truth is, confidence doesn’t come from chasing perfection. It comes from proving to yourself, day after day, that you can take care of your body, keep promises to yourself, and become the kind of woman you respect.
That’s what fitness has given me, and that’s what I want to help other women build too.
